It’s safe to assume that many of these selfie-takers want white teeth. As you’ve heard over and over, teeth whitening is, by far, the most commonly requested cosmetic procedure of any type…. period.

That all-important “process” starts out with custom whitening trays that fit a certain way to seal the whitening gel in the trays, but more importantly, seal out damaging saliva and sulcular fluid.

Why are saliva and sulcular fluid damaging in whitening trays?

Saliva is highly concentrated with a natural antioxidant enzyme called glutathione peroxidase, and sulcular fluid is even more concentrated with it than saliva. The peroxidase in saliva and sulcular fluid destroy peroxide inside whitening trays… on contact!

Obviously, if your KöR whitening trays don’t fit and seal properly, you’re dead in the water. That’s why we go to such great lengths to teach you the proper way to fabricate KöR-Seal Whitening Trays. But remember, it all starts with an ideal impression. If the impression or digital scan taken isn’t ideal, you can’t make an ideal KöR whitening tray. Makes sense, right?
